Gifford Construction describes itself on Houzz as a residential builder and remodeler working Chittenden County and Franklin County, Vermont. The company says it specializes in full-gut home remodels, renovations, additions, kitchen and bath remodels, porches and decks. A 2021 Houzz customer said the company botched a flooring and kitchen remodel, writing that it cracked the sink, hung a cabinet upside down, mixed up pine and hickory hardwood flooring, hung a hood vent crooked and installed a roof vent that leaked. In a 2021 r/burlington thread, a commenter named it as one of two companies they know that do really good work. Its BBB grade is A+.
โTwo companies I know do really good work:โ
These guys botched my flooring and kitchen remodel left and right. Cracked my sink, hung a cabinet upside down, mixed up pine and hickory hardwood flooring, hung a hood vent crooked, installed a roof vent that leaks. Should i keep going? My advice is to look for a general contractor with a more experienced / detail oriented crew.
