Gilmetti General Contracting

A December 2020 BuildZoom reviewer said they paid Gilmetti General Contracting more than $6,000 as a down payment and the job was never done. The directory identifies the business as a general contractor in Whitman, with listings for home construction and remodeling. Basement-work complaints followed in 2021. A July reviewer alleged that the contractor took a $9,500 payment, did not perform the work and disconnected the phone. An August reviewer also described a $9,500 payment, alleging that materials were taken, the phone was disconnected and the money was not reimbursed. That August review further alleged the contractor was not licensed or insured. These are customer allegations from those dated reviews. BuildZoom gives the company 1.0 stars from four ratings. Its written reviews span 2013–2021; the June 2013 reviewer described the contractor as dishonest and unreliable.
