GJ MCALISTER

G.J. McAlister, Inc. is a Mansfield, Massachusetts home improvement company that says it has been in business since 1986, run today by Gerard J. McAlister (also doing business as Sperrin Construction). Its Better Business Bureau listing describes work spanning roofing, siding, interior and exterior projects, new construction, additions, decks, and hardwood flooring — the profile of a general home-improvement shop rather than a single-trade specialist. There isn't yet a customer review record here, so there's no track record of specific jobs to point to. The BBB listing names a Massachusetts Construction Supervisor's License number for the company, though that hasn't been checked against the state registry. The company also isn't a BBB Accredited Business and BBB hasn't issued it a rating, which is common for firms that haven't sought accreditation rather than a mark against them. Anyone considering hiring should ask for recent project references and confirm the license status directly with the state before booking, since neither is independently verified here yet.
