Glenn Crowell Construction

Glenn Crowell Construction is a Melrose, Massachusetts general contractor with 340 permitted projects tracked by BuildZoom — enough for a score in the top 4% of Massachusetts contractors on that site. The company says it has done home improvement work in the Melrose area for over 35 years, serving Melrose, Wakefield, and Stoneham, and its site and several directories describe a broad remodeling practice: additions, kitchen and bath work, new home construction, roofing, siding, window installation, carpentry, and deck and porch building for homeowners and commercial clients. The company markets itself as a certified installer for Harvey Windows and for CertainTeed's Cedar Impression vinyl siding line, and an online testimonial praises its roofing and gutter work. Its president, Glenn Crowell, is listed on BBB's page as holding a Construction Supervisor license and a Home Improvement Contractor registration; the same HIC number, #101774, appears on both BBB and BuildZoom's listings. Reported years in business vary by source — 35 on the company's own site, 37 on BBB, over 25 on Houzz — worth asking about directly. A reasonable call for a Melrose-area addition, remodel, or exterior job backed by a long local permit history; confirm current licensing and insurance and get a written scope before signing.
