GNP Construction, Corp.

GNP Construction, a roofing specialist based in New Bedford, describes itself as offering shingle roof installs and repairs with 14 years of experience and free estimates, including service in Spanish. The one written review on file, from 2022, was brief but positive — the homeowner said they were happy enough with the result to bring the company back for other projects. The Better Business Bureau shows an A+ grade for the company, though it is listed as not an accredited BBB business, with its file opened in November 2022. One thing worth checking directly before hiring: BuildZoom, citing the state's Office of Consumer Affairs and Business Regulation, lists the company's Massachusetts home improvement contractor license (#203663) as expired since November 2023, and notes the status was at one point shown as cancelled. Confirm current licensing status before signing anything, particularly for roofing work that would fall under that registration.
