Goetemann Custom Builders, LLC

Goetemann Custom Builders is a Lincoln, MA design-and-build shop led by Mark Goetemann, who the company says personally manages every project. Its own site describes a focus on large-scale, high-end residential additions and new home construction, along with custom cabinetry and millwork, working closely with architects on each project — and the company says it's been at it for 27 years. Houzz lists a broader menu under the same name — home additions, new home construction, home extensions, guesthouse design, garage building, project management, multigenerational and energy-efficient homes — plus a Massachusetts contractor license number. Stated service areas differ a bit by source: the company's own site names Lincoln, Wellesley and Gloucester, while its Houzz profile describes an 18-town area. This is a fit for a homeowner planning a substantial addition or new build who wants an architect-collaborative process. Confirm the license directly with the state, and ask to see recent, completed project examples before signing on.
