Gomtegas

Gomtegas is a Salem-based general contractor focused on residential remodeling and painting. Its public profiles associate the company with Esvin Gomez and list bathroom, kitchen, basement, attic, whole-home, addition, flooring, tiling, and painting work; BBB reports 12 years in business and an A+ grade, while BuildZoom lists an active Massachusetts Home Improvement Contractor license #183379. Homeowners have described completed bathrooms, kitchens, basements, attic suites, decks, additions, and whole-home renovations. Recent Google reviews from 2023 through 2026 repeatedly praise communication, responsiveness, schedule management, craftsmanship, and the finished work; one 2024 account also mentions permitting issues that were handled within the contractor's control. Older Angi reviews from 2017–2022 describe painting, bathroom, kitchen, garage, and flooring work, with positive accounts of availability and staying on schedule. Before booking, confirm the current business contact details and the scope of the license directly. Sources show different phone numbers and addresses, and a BuildZoom permit-history page includes one West Newbury project marked expired. The company profile also spans many project types, so a written scope, permit responsibilities, timeline, and payment schedule are worth clarifying. Gomtegas appears suited to homeowners planning substantial interior renovations or additions who value hands-on communication. Ask for a current license check, recent references for your project type, and confirmation of the office address and phone number before signing.
