The volume of detailed praise here is hard to overstate — dozens of specific, first-hand accounts stretching from 2016 through 2026, covering roof replacements, gutter systems, full exterior and interior painting, carpentry and trim restoration, decks, additions, a new garage and front porch, and a wheelchair-accessible ramp. Recurring threads: Patrick himself shows up on jobs and stays involved (reviewers name him directly across dozens of accounts), the crews communicate proactively with progress updates and photos, and projects that could have dragged — a second-floor condo deck rebuild, trim and column restoration on a three-story 1880s Victorian, an HOA roof and gutter repair with hard-to-reach condo owners — got finished. A 2025 Reddit thread in r/SalemMA recommended the company as "moderately priced," with the poster planning to hire them again.
That said, the record isn't spotless. A review from this spring said a siding project begun in September 2025 was still unfinished months later, and that the work started without the homeowner's authorization. A 2025 review described unsupervised subcontractors on a floor, carpentry and painting job, broken ceiling fans, and being told the owner doesn't like working with "difficult customers" after raising concerns — notably, the company's own site says it uses only its own employed crews and never subcontractors, which doesn't square with that account. For the kind of full-scope exterior or renovation project this company clearly has deep, repeat experience with — roofing, painting, additions, decks — the sheer weight of detailed, named-Patrick reviews across a decade is the strongest evidence here. Given the handful of recent complaints, it's worth getting a written schedule and cost estimate up front, and confirming directly who will be on site.
