Granite State Epoxy does one thing: it coats concrete floors. Garages mostly — epoxy and polyaspartic systems, decorative and polished concrete, plus refinishing floors that were coated once already. The company works out of Manchester, New Hampshire, and calls itself "NH's choice for all epoxy flooring installs and maintenance." That New Hampshire footprint is the thing to understand before calling: the twenty-odd towns it lists serving — Manchester, Nashua, Concord, Derry, Londonderry, Bedford, Portsmouth, up to Laconia and Meredith — are all in NH. The Massachusetts connection is a single completed job, a garage overhaul in Methuen, one of ten projects on its Houzz portfolio. On Houzz it carries a 5.0 average across 16 ratings. That number comes with a real caveat: none of the review text is readable there, so what those 16 customers actually said about the work is not something anyone can check. Sixteen ratings from one platform, with no bodies behind them, is a thin basis for a verdict — which is why the rating here sits below the 5.0 rather than matching it. What is on the record is trade standing rather than customer testimony: membership in the NH Home Builders & Remodelers Association, the Manchester Chamber of Commerce, and a 2014 graduation from the Leadership Greater Manchester program — which at least puts the business in the Manchester trade community more than a decade ago. Houzz also lists five of its own awards and three badges, but those are platform decorations, not independent verification. Typical jobs run $1,000 to $20,000 by the company's own posting, a range wide enough to cover a single two-car garage at one end and a large multi-bay or whole-basement floor at the other. This is the specialist call, not a general contractor: if you want a garage floor coated and you are in southern New Hampshire — or just over the line in the Merrimack Valley, as the Methuen job shows they will travel — they are squarely in that trade. Ask for a Massachusetts reference if your house is on this side of the border, get the scope in writing including surface prep and crack repair, and ask what the coating warranty covers.
