176 Google reviews, and not one of them below five stars — that kind of streak is rare for any home-improvement trade, let alone one where a single bad application can ruin a whole floor. Granite State Epoxy is a Hooksett, NH company that coats garages, basements, and commercial floors in epoxy, polyurea and polyaspartic systems; Bryan, an engineer by background, owns and runs it and says he's been at it for 14 years. Garage floors are what most reviewers hire them for, and the details repeat: crews show up on schedule, grind out old thinset or damaged concrete, and leave with a clean, durable finish — one reviewer described a large floor-length crack patched and epoxied smooth in an August 2026 review, and another said the traction on their new floor wasn't slippery at all. The work goes beyond garages, too: a pool deck resurfaced after 20 years, a converted 1980s concrete pad turned into finished living space in a four-day process, a water- and mold-damaged basement rebuilt from scratch, and a New Hampshire school that resurfaced 60-year-old bathroom floors with a "Quartz Carpet" system instead of tearing out old terrazzo, in a January 2024 review. When one business owner's floor came out wrong through another company and she needed to reopen fast, Bryan personally called back and was on site within two hours, in a September 2024 review. Several customers have hired the company more than once — one came back for a bathroom floor after a garage job, in a December 2024 review — and project manager Austin comes up by name again and again for walking customers through their options. The one sour note is a 2023 review describing chipping on the edge of a floor and a month of no response after reporting it — a rare complaint against dozens of reviews praising the same crew for staying in touch. For a garage, basement, or commercial floor coating, Granite State Epoxy is a strong call given how consistently the work and communication get praised; it's still worth asking upfront what their process is for addressing a problem after installation, since that's the one place a customer described friction.
We are beyond thrilled with our new epoxied garage floor. We had a large crack in the floor from one side to the next. The crew patched and repaired the crack, then epoxied the entire floor. From working with Austin to the actual guys that did the work, they were all highly professional, on time and a pleasure to work with. They even did an extra application to the edge on the driveway side to prevent flaking. It’s exactly the makeover that our garage floor needed! Thank you! PS- Don’t forget to tip the guys that do the work!
We had our garage floor done by Granite State Epoxy a year ago, and the whole experience was fantastic from start to finish. Curtis, Sam, and Austin were an absolute pleasure to work with. They are all great craftsmen as well as super personable, easygoing, and they made us feel like part of the process rather than just another job on the schedule. It felt like we were all on the same team working toward the same goal. What really stood out was their commitment to quality. They stand behind their work meaning that if anything doesn't look or feel exactly right, they come back and make it right, no questions asked. That kind of accountability is rare these days, and it made the higher price of their product absolutely worth it. The epoxy itself is top notch. Our whole neighborhood has commented on how incredible our garage floor looks, especially compared to some of the cheaper alternatives other neighbors went with. You can really tell the difference in quality. If you're considering epoxy flooring, do yourself a favor and go with Granite State Epoxy. Highly recommend!
Granite State Epoxy has been an incredible company to work with. Austin, the project manager, was knowledgeable professional and attentive to the smallest of details. They were able to get the work done with all the same quality that was promised, while being pushed on a tight timeline. I did end up having to call them back because of another contractors mistake, but Curtis was able to patch and transition it so well I can't even point out where it was. I would highly recommend Granite State to anyone looking to get an epoxy floor put in their space.
Thank you Granite State Epoxy. Our pool area looks brand new after 20 years. Freshly resurfaced with a bulletproof coating of resin. We are very happy!!!
Our house is built on a concrete slab with hydronic heating and we needed a new floor to replace the worn tile. We removed the old ceramic tiles but couldn't get all of the thinset off. That left a lot of extra work for the Granite State Epoxy crew. They used diamond grinders and special patch material to prep the floor and then checked with us to make sure it was in the condition we expected before the next step. The final result is everything we hoped for. The crew did great work. Granite State Epoxy had the best selection of flakes of the 5 companies I got quotes from. As this is the main floor of our home, that was really important to us. I think this project was likely more complicated than a garage because the crew had to work around kitchen cabinets, in closets and storage areas, the laundry, boiler room and living areas. Lots of nooks and crannies to manage. They did a great job and we love the results. Communication before we started the project could have been better but they began work on the day promised and were in contact while the work was ongoing. We recommend this company without reservations. Thanks Austin and Curtis for all your help!
