Granite State Movers' customers describe interstate moves with sharply different outcomes. A January 2025 Google reviewer said an Arizona-to-Massachusetts move arrived within the expected delivery time and in perfect condition, with some belongings going into temporary storage. Two customers writing in 2024 reported damaged or missing furniture, delivery delays, and difficulty getting information. The Manchester company says it handles residential and commercial moves, packing, and storage, including local, long-distance, and international moves. It identifies itself as an agent of North American Van Lines and lists Manchester, Bedford, Nashua, and other southern New Hampshire towns among its service areas. Google lists a 4.3-star average from 17 ratings. In February 2025, a customer described Riley Adams assessing an apartment and returning an affordable quote quickly, with flexibility around the moving date. That reviewer praised coordinator Sharon McLellan for updates before and during the move. A January 2025 customer described a refrigerator being hoisted out through a second-floor window and its replacement hoisted in, with the team cleaning up afterward. An October 2024 reviewer described moving an entire household from rural Vermont to Newburyport, Massachusetts. Jose and his crew had the household loaded by midday and finished unloading by midday the next day, according to the customer. In August 2023, another interstate customer praised the movers for disassembling and wrapping furniture, saying everything arrived in perfect condition. The complaints were concrete. A July 2024 Google reviewer said duct tape damaged a leather couch, a table and bookcase were broken beyond repair, and delivery fell outside the contract window. The customer also reported poor communication and learning the day before expected delivery that the belongings had not been loaded. A May 2024 reviewer said an estimate described as locked in rose by $800, half the belongings were still missing five weeks later, and calls were met with hang-ups or no response from the estimator. That customer said the work had been subcontracted. BBB lists an A- grade and one unresolved complaint.
