Bob Gray is a one of a kind, fourth generation, building contractor. He is fair, polite, knowledgeable, professional and never makes excuses. He works hard to make his clients happy, listens with genuine concern and responds rapidly to any questions. I had a year long home renovation that required multiple sub-contractors and many major projects…as with any major construction work there were problems that came up and mistakes that were made… but Bob and his team were responsive and quickly addressed them. I highly recommend him and wouldn’t look anywhere else.

I was very pleased when I worked with Grays a few years back and have grown to appreciate the experience over time. Clear communication, patient answering of all of my questions (there were many!) and a budget that ended just under where it started which was a welcomed surprise. While there were a few hiccups, it was nothing you wouldn’t expect with a project that involved navigating the schedules of multiple subcontractors and I was kept up to date at all times. I highly recommend Grays and would use them again.

Excellent people to work with on all levels

If you are sick (as I was) dealing with contractors that do not get back to you when they say they would, unprofessional and frustrating, then you MUST contact Bob Gray Construction! They had done a huge addition in my house in Rye over 20 years ago. They are now getting ready to do work in my new home. Just the preparation for the job like a permit from the town etc. was done in no time. The general manager , Chuck is amazing. Very responsive. They tell you they would get back to you at a certain time, they actually do!!! that is unheard of in this field. If you need anything done to your home , call no other than Bob at Gray construction. Family business (his mother answers the phone), great work, great people and great value.
