If you’re looking for new construction in Newtown or the surrounding towns, there are dozens of options for contractors who will happily take your money and build you a house. I know because my wife and I interviewed most of them. Greg at GRC Construction is different because he’s not in the business of building houses, he’s in the business of connecting on a personal level with clients and families and making sure he delivers them a home that will suit their needs now and for years to come. From our initial phone call with Greg, we knew he was our guy. He didn’t ask us about budget or square footage or what style of home we wanted. Instead, he asked us about our needs as a family, what we liked and didn’t like about our current house, and just generally about who we were. From there, we developed a rapport that made the building process run extremely smoothly. Greg is a phenomenal general contractor, and has assembled a great group of subcontractors who were all just as easy to work with as he was. They combined their efforts to bring our dream home to life. Throughout the build, Greg kept everything on or ahead of schedule while also being very conscious of our budget and what would add value to the home. He was extremely helpful in advising us where it made sense to spend money now and what could be easily upgraded later on. In total, we made over 50 change orders to our signed contract and Greg still delivered our home in just under 10 months from contract to closing with no detail overlooked or expectation left unmet. Again, almost anyone can build you a house but GRC Construction will build you a home.

Had a fantastic experience working with GRC and couldn’t be more pleased with the finished result! We undertook quite the project and Greg was there every step of the way to see it through and it came out perfect. Even after moving in (for a few months now) Greg is always available to answer questions or stop by and take a look if something needs attention, that’s just unbelievable service. If you are looking for a custom build in the lower Fairfield County area GRC is your builder.
