Does not complete his shoddy work. Buyer beware.
We made the mistake of hiring Tom to do several jobs. When we hired him, we didnt know he does shoddy work. Our shutters were never finished painting. Our walkway has 2 marks on it from where he stepped. He said those marks will never go away. Our fence is falling apart. Our door is crooked. He left a mess after every job. Does not complete his work but is very fast to cash checks. Beware. He will tell you all sorts of things about how customers have done him wrong. Sadly, I didn't see the writing on the wall as he trashed many former customers. I trusted him. My bad. Heed my warning. Don't make the same mistake I did. We got nothing for free. I have all cleared checks...as well as a broken fence, crooked door, marked up walkway and unfinished shutters. If you absolutely feel like Tom is your guy, GET EVERYTHING IN WRITING. Thankfully, I have all of the cashed checks with memos as well as endless text messages asking him to come finish his work. "You guys are the best customes I've ever had." He loved how fast we paid him.
