Habib Construction clears land and does site work, and its website describes forestry mulching heads that grind trees, brush, stumps and overgrowth on site, with no hauling and no burning. The company says it has been in business 15 years and lists Farmingdale, Manchester, Augusta, Hallowell, Gardiner and Winthrop as its service area. A customer from Richmond hired it for brush grinding to clear a drainage ditch and an overgrown fence line. That customer said the call was answered promptly and the quote came immediately, then described 10 hours straight of grinding one day and 8 hours of steady grinding on another, with the overgrowth left in chunks to compost. On a private road, a customer hired Habib to clear brush along the sides, fixing potholes and a drainage issue, and laying and rolling a new surface of reclaimed asphalt. That customer said Habib showed up exactly when he said he would, finished quicker than expected, and gave a fair and accurate estimate. Owners in Rhode Island who had work done on their home in China, Maine, wrote that Habib, the owner, communicated with them and listened to what they wanted while they could not be there, and that the property was left looking good when the job was finished. A 2026 customer said a culvert at the end of the driveway was collapsing, and that Habib diagnosed the issue, made the repair, and loamed and seeded the excavated area when the project was complete.
Phoned for a quotation for brush grinding to clear existing drainage ditch & over grown fence line. Call was answered promptly, site was visited, plan was made. quote was immediately received. Work was scheduled: Day 0: equipment arrived. Day 1: Habib arrived bright & early, but had to respond to a water leak, that was fine by me brush was not going anywhere. Late afternoon work began in earnest & continued till sunset. Day 2: 10 hours straight of grinding 15 years of over growth, saplings & bushes into small & medium chunks left to compost. Day 3: rain. Day 4: 8 hours of steady grinding. Work completed invoice presented (& paid) equipment loaded & removed. Job done! Absolutely no complaints. Will be contracting more machine time in near future. Everything about working with Habib was excellent. He cleared the brush on the sides of our private road, fixed the potholes and a drainage issue, and laid down and rolled a new surface of reclaimed asphalt. He showed up exactly when he said he would and got the work done quicker than I had expected. His estimate was fair and accurate. He owns his own equipment and it is all new. He is also a genuinely nice and respectful guy! Couldn't be happier with the experience and will use his company again.
Habib Construction has provided excellent service, and communication. The culvert at the end of our driveway was collapsing with the Spring thaw and rains. Habib was able to diagnose the issue, and provide the repair in a timely and efficient manner. He was very communicative about what to expect, and was friendly and respectful with all interactions. When the project was complete, he loamed and seeded the area that needed to be excavated. We truly appreciate his service!
