A 2024 Reddit commenter in r/Connecticut said Hallocks is now part of Shore Appliances, with locations in Groton, Old Saybrook, Clinton and Branford. A recent customer who ordered a Bosch speed oven said the delivery truck arrived at 10:58 and installation was completed by 11:20, with the work area left clean. A recent washer and dryer buyer said the installer, Joe, installed them correctly and answered their questions. One recent customer said the delivery crew hooked the hot to the cold and the cold to the hot, and a technician came back a week later to fix the water hoses. On the repair side, a 2025 customer said serviceman Kevin fit them in the same day, even though their appointment was days later, and got their refrigerator running. A 2022 customer who called about an over-heating dryer said they were told the first available service time was Saturday, on a Monday call.

Both purchase and delivery was an excellent experience. Pam gave me all the information I needed to make the right choice without any pressure. The two men that delivered and installed the refrigerator are very competent and pleasant to work with. Plus knowing their service department will be there if I ever need them is a great comfort. Overall, I am very happy and will continue to use and recommend Hallock’s in the future.

Ordered Bosch speed oven on Wednesday. Delivery date is Saturday. Estimated time was between 11:00 and 3:00. At 10:58, delivery truck was here. Installation was completed by 11:20. The work area was clean. Installers were very cordial. When ordering the oven, Pam was fantastic and very patient listening to my concerns and questions. Excellent experience! First time ever that I was first in line!
Pam and the team at Hallock’s did an amazing job finding a high-quality wall oven for our slightly irregular (aka small) kitchen cabinet. They delivered, hauled away the old ovens, and could not have been better folks to work with. From start to finish they were very helpful, responsive, and solution-oriented. Thanks to all!!
