I hired Handy & Some for a bathroom remodel. I received a quote quickly from Sean and he communicated very promptly through the entire process. His price was reasonable and he adjusted it fairly for additions and subtractions that we made. His subcontractors were reliable and everyone was pleasant and considerate while working in the house. Larry, who acted as foreman on the job, was great to work with and always going the extra mile to make sure that everything was done to my satisfaction. The team was very professional and went above and beyond by doing extra repairs not originally requested. My deck project was over a roof covered with rubber to prevent leaks in the garage. We had a 32 year old deck with good underlying structure but badly in need of resurfacing. We wanted to go with a low maintenance Trex product and White pvc railing. Handy and some quote was competive and work on deck was superlative. Finished Deck looked better than original deck ever did with white pvc lattice surround and framing. Team was good to deal with and commucation was excellent. Project got town building permit which gave us more confidence, with Handy and Some handling the process. I have a vacation home in Maine with 2 decks and would have no hesitation hiring them again if they would travel that far and the price was competitive.

Sean is an absolute gem in the contractor world honest, responsive, upfront about costs, knowledgeable about the industry and materials, and well-connected to skilled sub-contractors. He came highly recommended and because of his extensive experience we were immediately comfortable with him. We appreciated the information and transparency he provided in the budget and how he walked us through different material types, including pros and cons of various cabinets, flooring, lighting, etc. Sean also brainstormed creative ideas, such as helping us change a space of kitchen that was not utilized into a workspace with glass cabinets. He took on the challenging task of renovating the kitchen in our intergenerational home. During this renovation process, every step of the way he was incredibly patient in explaining the process and providing updates to all of us; this often meant additional visits or correspondence on his end, which he was happy to do so. Also during the renovation, he kept in touch daily with any changes as well as updates to the scheduling. He was responsive when we asked for modifications to the paint color or wanted an add-on during the process. All of his workers including Ronnie and Larry were not only highly skilled at their craft, but they were also diligent and respectful.
