Helping Hand Specialist is a Randolph-based crew that Thumbtack lists as a 19-year operation with about 10 people, handling lawn care, snow removal, junk removal, demolition, and general labor, plus HVAC and renovation work. In a 2022 review, a customer described Jean clearing over two feet of snow from their sidewalks and walkways during a blizzard, calling him fair on price and quick to respond. A 2021 review praised the crew's attitude and called the job a pleasure to work with, and a 2020 review complimented the team for showing up on time and clearing out yard work. A 2019 review, from a repeat customer, called the work professional, hardworking, and reliable for ongoing yard needs. All four reviews are five-star, and on Thumbtack the company holds a 4.6-star average across 18 ratings, with 78% five-star. One in twenty of those Thumbtack ratings comes in at one star, though nothing explains why. The company also reports OSHA 10 certification and a passed background check. This is a solid call for yard work, snow removal, junk removal, and general labor — the jobs its customers actually describe. For HVAC or a larger renovation, ask about specific experience with that trade before booking.

I cannot say enough good things about helping hand specialist. Jean was extremely responsive and beyound fair with price. I needed my sidewalks and walkways shoveled for the blizzard we had well over 2 feet. Unfortunately I couldn’t commit to have him do it right away as I needed clearance from my co partner. I emailed him two days before the storm and he fit me into his schedule. I cannot speak more highly of his responsive and considerness. He was constantly in countact with me and wanted to confirm if I wanted to wait till it was done snowing that way it would only be one charge. I owned and operated my own landscaping business for years and let me tell you good workers and businesses are hard to find. When he completed the job he sent me photos of the work completed and I am beyound grateful for finding his company. Highly recommended !! Thank you again.
