Eighteen permitted projects are listed on Hewey Construction's BuildZoom profile, where remodeling heads the service list. The company works out of 534 East Broadway in Haverhill and answers at (978) 373-6038. Obituary pages at the Eagle-Tribune trace the business to a father and son: the father headed the sales staff at Taylor-Goodwin Lumber Company, then started Hewey Construction with his son David and spent decades building. The same pages describe a lifelong carpenter at the company. BuildZoom lists a Massachusetts home improvement contractor registration for the company, #117059, along with several older licence numbers. For a remodeling job in the Haverhill area it is worth a call — then look #117059 up on the state's own registry, ask which of those permitted jobs resemble yours, and find out who would run the site day to day.
“His career included heading the sales staff at Taylor-Goodwin Lumber Company from where he went on to establish Hewey Construction Company with his son David, embarking on a decades long building career.”
“He was a carpenter his entire life at Hewey Construction.”
