Hi-Tech Window and Siding Installations works windows, siding, roofing and gutters out of Methuen, and describes itself as a family-owned business. It says it has held BBB accreditation since January 2013, and Bill Chase is named in reviews as the company's owner, credited for walking homeowners through options and pricing before a crew shows up. The most recent job on record, from May 2026, has a crew arriving at 9 a.m. and finishing 11 double-hung window replacements by 3 p.m., with some interior trim work left for a follow-up visit. Earlier reviews, mostly from 2018 through 2020, tell a similar story on bigger siding and roofing jobs: homeowners describe crews finishing multi-day projects on schedule and cleaning up after themselves, and one reviewer had a storm-damaged roof repaired the same day they called. A glass-industry trade piece has also noted the company's Summit Series window line, including an installation at the summit of Mount Washington. That same 2018-2020 stretch also holds the company's sharpest complaints. One reviewer described a sub-contracted siding crew that skipped taping foam-board seams and left the door and window wrap incomplete; another said new siding installed around cellar windows left gaps large enough for mice to get in; a third waited months past a promised date for a skylight job with little word from the office. A January 2025 review adds a more recent complaint: after the final payment on a siding job, the customer said the crew left tools and a pallet on a neighbor's lawn and an electrical box unsecured, and that three follow-up calls hadn't gotten it fixed. Separately, a Better Business Bureau customer said replacement windows didn't end up qualifying for a MassSave rebate the company had said they would. Worth checking before booking: the BBB shows two different letter grades on file, an A on a more recent pull and an A+ earlier, so it's worth a quick look at the current one. For a standard window, siding or roofing job, the company has a long history of specific, detailed praise to point to — but given the finishing and follow-up complaints, it's worth confirming cleanup, punch-list and any rebate-qualification promises in writing before work starts.
“Hi-Tech Window and Siding of Haver-ville, Mass., recently met on the summit of Mount Wash-ington in New Hampshire to install”
A crew showed up at 9:00 AM the morning of, and by 3:00 PM they had replaced 11 double-hung windows on the house, cleaned up inside, and removed all the old windows. Inside and outside will require some minor follow-up clean-up, sanding and painting of pre-existing wood that was exposed in the process, but that was not part of the contracted work.
Once contacted via Angi, fast visit for estimate, clear description of options, good price, work was done as scheduled, quality installation and cleaned up after.
New siding on the house, their contract states that you have to pay when the job is significantly completed. When I paid the last payment, everyone left the job left some tools left a 14 foot long pallet was pushed onto my neighbors lawn so they could get the Porta potty in the dumpster out and left there. Electrical box on side of house is not attached or secured. Have called three times and they say we?ll get out there next Monday a whole bunch of Mondays of common gone and no one?s helped
Very nice and thorough in service.
Very professional. Will recommend them for any exterior home projects
