Attics, crawl spaces and older walls are among the places customers describe Cape Save insulating. Based in South Yarmouth, the company says it is family-owned, was founded in 1972 and has spent more than 50 years insulating and weatherizing Cape Cod homes. Its website describes insulation, air sealing and duct sealing work as an independent contractor in the Mass Save program. Google rates it 5 stars from 44 ratings, and its written customer history spans 2023–2026. The jobs include work in cramped or previously damaged spaces. In a September 2024 Google review, a homeowner described a small attic whose insulation had been torn up by raccoons. They said Cape Save re-insulated it after remediation, worked carefully around new ductwork and arrived on time for appointments. A November 2023 reviewer described a low crawl space fitted with a vapor barrier, rigid sidewall insulation and taped seams. In January 2025, another customer said the crew blew insulation into two uninsulated walls in an 1800s house and left the home clean. Customers also describe explanations before and after installation. An August 2026 reviewer praised Greg for explaining and showing the work and cleaning up. A January 2026 customer described clear options during consultation, responsive answers through installation and follow-up, and efficient, clean work. In a March 2025 review, a cottage owner said Aaron coordinated insulation work around a water-heater move and heat-pump installation, supplied daily progress updates and provided photos afterward. The customer also praised cleanup after the spray-foam work. Mass Save assistance appears in several dated accounts. An October 2025 reviewer said they paid $600 for $3,300 worth of attic insulation work through the program. That was their individual experience. The September 2024 attic customer praised Ryan for helping them access Mass Save benefits. A September 2024 reviewer described Cape Save directly installing wall insulation while other approved contractors completed the additional upgrades recommended after an energy assessment. In a November 2024 review, a customer said a project manager, team lead and technician returned to address a question after installation. They used work photos to confirm what had been completed without going back into the attic, and the customer praised both the answers and the cleanup.
