High Pace Construction is a Norwood-based full-service design-build contractor run by owner Christopher Tenaglia, doing kitchens, bathrooms, whole-home remodels, additions, ADUs and ground-up residential and light commercial work across Greater Boston (the company also runs a second office in New Smyrna Beach, Florida). Its Massachusetts home improvement contractor license is registry-verified active, and the company's own site says Tenaglia has personally completed more than $175 million in commercial and residential construction and holds contractor licenses in seven states plus a HUD manufactured-home installer license in 42 — figures we haven't independently verified. The written record, all on Google, is deep and uniformly strong: 25 ratings averaging 5.0, with two dozen detailed reviews on file running from late 2024 into 2026. Bathroom remodels are the recurring project type — reviews describe full gut renovations with demolition, new tile floors and walls, vanities and electrical work, one turning a '45-year-old dilapidated bath' into what a customer called a 'high-end luxury hotel spa bath' finished over a single 36-hour weekend. Another review describes a total master-bath-and-hardwood renovation completed in 15 days. Several customers mention daily communication — progress photos and an end-of-day phone call — and one describes Chris personally doing hands-on work alongside the crew during regular site visits. A handful of reviews also describe ADU installs, an attic conversion, a detached egress deck, and emergency leak repair. Nothing negative appears in the written record on file, and the three most recent reviews, within the last six months, continue the same pattern. What's worth confirming before calling: the company's multi-state licensing and the $175 million lifetime-construction figure come from its own site rather than an outside registry, so ask for specifics if that history matters to your decision — but the Massachusetts license itself checks out, and the volume of detailed, consistent bathroom-remodel reviews here is real.
Chris and the whole team at High Pace Construction are phenomenal! I have used High Pace for personal projects and projects for my clients and every time they have delivered. They communicate well; problem solve on site with the best of them and are prompt, quick and do quality work. 15/10 would recommend.
Had an amazing experience with the entire team, very professional. Did a phenomenal job. Chris was a delight.
Chris and his team were exceptional to work with. The estimate process was informative and my questions were patiently answered. Once we agreed on project scope, the team was onsite in a day's time to complete the work. Finished project was high caliber and the team was very professional throughout the process. I would highly recommend!
We hired High Pace Construction and we truly could not be happier with the results. Chris leads a fantastic team of helpful, personable, and highly trained artisans who genuinely care about what they create. He was extremely hands-on throughout the project, with regular site visits and, at times, literally doing the work himself. I can’t underscore enough how consistently his team showed up with warm smiles and positive attitudes. They bent over backwards to ensure every detail was exactly to our liking, and everything was executed seamlessly according to the plans provided by Artemis Design – Roula Bakis. Chris himself is a pleasure to work with. The entire process felt collaborative, organized, and remarkably stress-free thanks to him. Very little seems to faze him - in fact, his favorite phrase is “nothing is impossible,” and he truly lives by it. We couldn’t be happier with the outcome and would recommend High Pace Construction without hesitation.
The team at High Pace Construction tackled our attic project with great expertise reinforcing the structure and adding important details making it a truly usable space. Christopher Tenaglia was always available and replied right away. The team is very respectful and responsive. They deal with a lot of high end projects and worked on ours with the same dedication.
