Home Contractor Pros’ painting customers described both careful preparation and serious trouble during jobs. The Nashua contractor’s written Angi reviews date from 2014–2015. Angi lists exterior painting and staining, along with Spanish-language service. In an August 2015 review, a homeowner said Lupe and his crew painted their home after substantial scraping and preparation, and arrived when promised. A July 2015 customer described interior and exterior trim painting, doors and ceilings, minor carpentry repairs and power washing. That customer said Lupe addressed concerns quickly. Another homeowner writing in August 2015 praised Lupe, subcontractor Dan and the crew for answering questions and completing a home renovation. Other customers described problems with price and scheduling. A September 2015 reviewer said the initial quote increased on the first day, that they had to advance money for materials, and that work expected to take a few days to a week stretched to three weeks. The same reviewer complained about short workdays, swearing, yelling and an oil leak from the truck. An August 2015 reviewer said Lupe promised a three- or four-person crew and a three- or four-day job, but subcontracted it to one worker who took almost eight full days. The customer described missed follow-up calls, being left without bathroom doors over a weekend, and a request through the painter for a five-star rating. A separate August 2015 reviewer alleged damage to shower-door hardware, kitchen cabinets, a shop vacuum, walls, woodwork and flooring during ceiling work. They also said interior lights were left hanging by their wires and that the company sought more money after payment in full. The reviewer reported that the crew later entered the house without permission to retrieve tools, prompting them to change the locks and install a security system.
