Sloan Painting Co

Wall preparation gets specific praise from Sloan Painting Co’s customers. In a January 2026 Google review, one customer described three positive experiences over several years: Dan supplied quotes promptly, while Shawn handled scheduling and communication and prepared the walls thoroughly. The Nashua company says it has served southern New Hampshire and most of Massachusetts for more than 40 years. Sloan offers residential and commercial painting, indoors and out. Its website also lists cabinet refinishing, power washing, mildew and algae removal, and popcorn ceiling removal. The company says estimates are free and that it carries general liability and workers’ compensation insurance. Google’s August 2026 listing showed a 5-star average from 49 ratings. The older accounts describe the finishing work in detail. A customer writing in April 2022 said Shawn and Sean painted nearly every surface in the house, filled and sanded imperfections, wiped drips, and aligned the screwheads on switch plates. That customer also praised how they addressed questions and change orders. In September 2022, another customer described a whole-condo paint job, including three bedrooms, the kitchen, living room, foyer and trim, with added trim work on a plywood island. An October 2024 reviewer praised Shawn’s attention to detail when painting the house, ell and garage. Timing varied between the dated accounts. A February 2024 customer said Sloan quoted quickly and painted within days of accepting the quote; a January 2022 customer said the company was busy and they waited a while for work to start. The latter customer praised the smooth walls and a patched hole in a textured ceiling. Customers writing in November 2022 and September 2024 also described reasonable pricing. One restriction is explicit: Sloan’s website says the company opted out of lead-paint certification and does not work on lead paint.
