In January 2024, a section of a homeowner's roof blew off. The roofer who worked a Saturday to patch it before the next big storm, some distance outside his usual area, was David of Home Evolution Construction — the only one, that customer wrote, who went the extra mile. Home Evolution says it has been doing roofing since 2012, and it works as a roofing, siding and gutter contractor on residential and commercial exteriors across Massachusetts, New Hampshire, Rhode Island and Maine, with a self-reported service area running through New Hampshire towns from Goffstown and Rochester to Wolfeboro and Lebanon. Speed is what customers wrote about most. In a March 2025 review, a homeowner had someone out less than 24 hours after calling; the problem turned out to be small, it was fixed the same day for a fair price, and a second small issue was handled before it could grow, at no extra charge. Two 2024 reviews describe a roof replacement finished in a single day, one of them faster than the customer had been told to expect. In a March 2023 review, a small roof vent fix cost less than other quotes. Several customers describe being talked out of the bigger job. In a May 2024 Thumbtack review, a buyer had David look at the rotted and missing siding and trim an inspector had flagged before the purchase, and he separated what could wait from what needed doing immediately. A September 2023 homeowner called about a suspected leak, discussed the options, and chose a full roof replacement because of the roof's age. That same month, another had a flat roof replaced and leaks stopped, and wrote that Leandro and his crew did exactly what was agreed for the quoted price. The work runs past shingles: a cedar shake roof in July 2023, a commercial EPDM roof that June, a garage roof and ceiling, a ridge cap with rotted wood trim swapped for composite, vinyl siding, and siding blown away in a storm that the crew color-matched when the homeowner had no idea what the original color was called. Cleanup comes up repeatedly — a spotless yard, debris gone at the end of the day. The ratings are 5 stars across 77 Google ratings and 4.6 across 79 on Thumbtack, with an A+ on the BBB page, and most of the written accounts date from 2023; the newest is a January 2026 roof cleaning done carefully enough not to damage the shingles. For a roof or siding job where you want a fast estimate and a crew that clears out in a day or two, this is a straightforward call. Get the scope and the materials-and-workmanship warranty in writing — a 2023 customer picked them for exactly that — and settle what the quote covers before the tear-off, the way the happiest customers describe it: every cost out in the open from the start.
He did a nice job cleaning the roof and being careful to avoid damaging the shingles. He was responsive and got back to me quickly
Came out less than 24 hours after I called. Noted that it was a pretty small problem and fixed it same day for a fair price. Even fixed another small issue before it could become a bigger one without any extra charge. Could not possibly recommend more.
They did a fantastic job on replacing my old roof. All cost were out in the open, no hidden charges. Job was complete in one day and they did a great job on the cleanup at end of the day ! I would highly recommend Home Evolution Construction to anyone looking for home improvement!
Work done well. Excellent guys.
David came out shortly after I inquired about a few items the inspector had pointed out before my purchase like some rotted and missing siding and trim. He assessed the items and was honest about which items I could afford to wait on and which I should have addressed immediately. He quoted a price, came out the next day, did quality work and was flexible in his approach and his payment options. Communication was great and I’d definitely recommend him.
