Home Improvement & Consulting is a Roxbury, MA handyman operation the reviews all refer to as Andrew, with a Porch profile showing 4.9★ from 10 ratings and 12 years in business. The written record on file runs from June and July 2018: four detailed reviews describing a punch-list of home repairs completed efficiently and for less than expected, a drywall repair job called superb and dependable, a bathroom renovation left professional and spotless, and a kitchen faucet and leaky appliance fixed responsively at a reasonable price. Each reviewer specifically noted he showed up on time. There's nothing written more recently than 2018 to go on, so it's worth confirming current availability and getting a fresh estimate before booking - the underlying platform rating (4.9 from 10) suggests the pattern has held, but the detailed accounts here are several years old.
Typical Greater Boston range for this kind of work, from regional averages — not a quote from Home Improvement & Consulting. Handyman. Use it to sanity-check bids, then get the real number in writing.
A day rate replaces the task list — usually the better deal once the list gets long.

Needed dry wall repair. Andrew did superb work; was easy to communicate with; dependable and thorough. Showed up on time. Completed the tasks and was available for a few other minor jobs. Wholeheartedly recommend him.
Andrew did a number of home repairs for me (I provided him with a punch list). He was efficient and found solutions to problems that I thought would be much more expensive to fix. He prepped and painted a bedroom and did a professional job.
Andrew helped us renovate our bathroom. His work was professional, his personality friendly, and he communicated well. He was always on time and left our place spotless. Much recommended.
Andrew has been great to work with. He has fixed a kitchen faucet and a leaky appliance for me. Each time, he was very responsive to my communication, showed up on time, and performed the work wonderfully all for a reasonable amount. I would certainly use Andrew again in the future.
