Thirteen building permits say more about this company than its three reviews do, and almost all of them are kitchens. Cabinets and countertops out, cabinets and countertops in, floors refinished, tile and paint, no structural work — that shape repeats across jobs in Boston, Brookline, Milton and Chestnut Hill. The naming fits the pattern. The Better Business Bureau records an alternate trading name for the business, Kitchen Works Installation Group, and its Houzz page sits at the address /pro/kitchen-works74. Countertop installation, wood and vinyl floor installation and floor levelling sit alongside the kitchens and bathrooms on its service list. The written history is short and mostly dated. In a September 2020 review, a client credited the contractor with coming back after the job to clear a punch list, then returning again for things found later, and said the final cost matched the quote exactly. Another that month called the crew punctual and clean. The most recent, from December 2023, runs one line — efficient, meticulous, attentive to detail — and Angi marks it as a copy of a Google review. Two things to pin down before you call. Its own listings disagree about how long it has been trading: Angi prints 'over 24 years of experience' and '15 years of experience' on the same page, while the Better Business Bureau records a 1999 start with incorporation in 2013. And on licensing, BuildZoom lists a Massachusetts home improvement contractor registration for the company — that is BuildZoom's record, not a state confirmation, so check the number with the state yourself. If the job is a kitchen — cabinets, counters, floors, tile, nothing structural — this is squarely what they do. Ask for the registration number and for two recent kitchen addresses you can go and look at.

I want not only to speak of the exceptional quality of work Yanis does but his exceptional customer service. His responsiveness is.above and beyond. He has come back even after job was done. He took care of everything on the punch list and returned to resolve some additional things I had found later without hesitation. Again, Yanis Customer Service is outstanding and he is an absolute pleasure to work with. Anyone who has seen my home has to know who the contractor was and I have given his number to several people. Yanis works in a timely manner and he absolutely, completely was finished when he said he was - and the cost was what I was quoted. I strongly recommend as Yanis is an Extraordinary Professional.
