HOOD CUSTOM HOME DESIGN, INC.

Hood Custom Home Design runs a showroom on Long Pond Road in Plymouth, where the cabinets, countertops and fixtures get picked out before the kitchen or bathroom is designed and installed. The site names Kevin Hood as the principal, says the company has been designing custom kitchens and baths for more than 30 years, and lists a Certified Wellborn Cabinet Dealer affiliation. Its Better Business Bureau profile, filed under Hood Remodeling Inc. with Kevin Hood as manager, carries an A+ grade. On Google, the one rating it has is a single star. A fit for a homeowner who wants to choose cabinetry and counters in a showroom alongside the person drawing the plan. Before committing, ask who does the installation and under whose home improvement contractor registration, ask to see two or three finished kitchens around Plymouth, and get allowances and lead times written into the contract.
