Kitchens by Farina is a Holbrook kitchen and bath remodeling contractor. In a 2016 Houzz review, a customer said Vinny Farina had their entire kitchen redone, including tearing out and replacing all of the flooring and building a new doorway. That 2016 customer also said he renovated a family-room wall that was buckling. In a 2014 Houzz review, a customer described the kitchen job as a complete gut to add wall and ceiling insulation and relocate the entrance and gas stove. A 2014 bathroom customer said the schedule never slipped because Vinny made sure the subcontractors were on site on the day they were scheduled. A 2014 customer who had two full baths and a half bath remodeled said that, over a year after completion, an issue came up and he came back to straighten it out at no charge. In a 2017 BuildZoom review, a customer said Vinny gave them a design that, in the customer's words, "another contractor represented wouldn't fit." In a 4-star 2014 Houzz review, a customer said their new kitchen ended up more expensive and took more time than they anticipated, and that one contractor did poor-quality work before Vinny stepped in and made it right. I have worked with Vinny Farina. We had our kitchen and bath remolded. I do like Vinny and wouldn't hesitate to hire him again.
Vinny Farina is excellent. I would re-hire him tomorrow if I had a project that requires his skill. He's a perfectionist.. On top of that he has a great personality, is extremely well organized, and keeps the customer up-to-date about when to expect the plumber, electrician, and carpenter. Our kitchen is exactly what we asked for. Vinny has years of experience and gave us a design that another contractor represented wouldn't fit. We were referred to Kitchens by Farina by my sister who used this firm many years ago to have a kitchen installed. I would recommend Kitchens by Farina to friends and family without hesitate.
We have had several projects done by Vinny Farina of Kitchens by Farina, including having our entire kitchen redone, which included tearing out and replacing all of the flooring, and building a new doorway, in addition to all of the kitchen work. We have also had him renovate a wall in our family room that was buckling. In everything we have done, Vinny and his crew do a great job, and worked us closely to make sure we understood what they were doing, any issues they ran into and the best way to correct them (which on occasion included his recommendation to not do something, because the repair wasn't worth it). The cabinets and other materials we got from, or through, Kitchens by Farina are high quality, and were reasonably priced. He monitors his subs and makes sure they show up on schedule and do a good job as well. I recommend Kitchens by Farina for not only Kitchen renovations, but any home improvement project.
Vinnie's design and execution get rave reviews from friends and family. He was the fourth vendor to provide a plan for my kitchen. It looks true to the home's Victorian period but with modern amenities. It was a complete gut to add wall and ceiling insulation and relocate the entrance and gas stove. I could not be more pleased with the results.
