HR RAMIREZ ROOFING INC

Shingle, slate, tile, metal, EPDM, TPO: HR Ramirez Roofing's BBB page lists ten kinds of roofing work, from an inspection or a repair up to a full replacement. The Better Business Bureau accredits the Lynn-area company with an A+ grade and lists 11 years in business and a 100-mile service area; Angi puts it at 12 years of experience and notes Spanish-language support. Its two written reviews are both a decade old, and both are five stars on BuildZoom. In a 2016 review a couple said the price and the quality of the work both landed well; a 2015 customer described the whole run from estimate to payment — people who were pleasant and efficient, and a new roof they were happy with. A couple of things to pin down first. BuildZoom lists Massachusetts home improvement contractor registration #182354 under the company's name — that is a directory's listing, so look the number up on the state registry yourself before you sign anything. Federal OSHA records also list a 2016 complaint inspection at a Beverly, Massachusetts site under the company name; ask about it directly, and about current insurance. The directories don't agree on where the company sits either: BBB has it in West Lynn, BuildZoom in Revere, Angi at a Lynn address. Ask where the crew works out of and who will be on your roof. For a straightforward North Shore reroof — shingles, gutters and flashing — this is an accredited shop whose customers liked the price and the finish. Confirm the registration on the state site, ask for a couple of recent local jobs you can call, and get scope, timeline and insurance in writing.
