Ideal Siding Dover

So very disappointed by the new owner Josh and his lack of skill in the trade. Zero willingness to fix mistakes when given the opportunity after his “best guy” siding crew completely botched a beautiful house and very expensive job.. I would not recommend this business to anyone. Worst experience ever.. Do better!, this is far from on IDEAL!!!!

I was looking for a company that could do some siding repair above a large front entry door to help find any source of water damage I have had. I started with Angi and that directed me to a few contractors and I chose Ideal Siding New Hampshire. The same day I got a call to book an appointment which I did. Josh from Dover, NH came to my house on time and looked at my door and siding. Mind you the house and Monogram siding are 27 yrs old. He listened well to what my problem was and what I wanted to do. He looked over the door and siding and the decorative arched Sunburst pediment. He had some ideas and he shared them with me. He said he would get a quote out in a day or so. He did and with a price range and some material I found acceptable. I had spare siding at my house from the original build of the house. I accepted, he gave me a tentative schedule when his team could come weather depending. Within two weeks we had a date and time and he and his crew member came and did the work removing some of the siding looking for problems and improving water proofing etc and reinstalled the siding. They did a good job and cleaned up. I received an invoice the next day and it was under the quote. I can say that Josh is a very good communicator from the beginning to the end of the project. He answered all my questions be them verbally or with Text. He is fixated on trying to make sure his customers are comfortable with the work and happy in the end. I feel he is very honest, does not over sell and is transparent with his expectations and the whole process. I would use Josh and Ideal Siding New Hampshire again without hesitation. Thank you Josh!

Josh the owner of the New Hampshire location came to my house on time when the appt was made. He gave me a quote with range. Within 2 weeks he and his siding installer came and did the work I needed and completed it in one day. I had an invoice within 1-2 days and the price was a little lower than the estimate. They did a good job and cleaned up. Josh is a great communicator and always follows up. I would recommend his company for at least what I needed which was removing some siding and replace some waterproofing with improved products and techniques and reapply the existing 27 yr old siding.

They responded the same day to my call. Josh came over the following morning and assessed my siding issue. A couple of days later, one of his crews came to my house and resolved the problem. Excellent communication and followup. I highly recommend Ideal Siding in Dover, NH.

We had extensive woodpecker damage and Josh came to the house to give us an estimate. He was extremely honest and said old me that our except for the woodpecker damage, iur clavoards were j. Good condition. He recommended: Siding Repair to address woodpecker damage, other rotting trim. Replace 8 outside corners by removing existing wood and replacing it with PVC; 224 ln ft of corner trim needed (2 pieces, 5" PVC per corner), supply and installation, Wrap fascia trim with Alsco Aluminum Trim Coil in closest color available, ideally a similar or complementary blue, (roughly 280 linear feet of fascia along eaves and rakes of home), supply and installation. Repair of woodpecker damage to clapboards - excluding paint; will replace up to 12 linear feet of clapboard with primed cedar or similar wood plank siding. Install 8" PVC mudsill on rear of home (underneath 4 windows) where clapboards are stained and decaying. Replace trim around garage doors with PVC, supply and installation, Josh was awesome and the workmanship was excellent! Josh coordinated with the crew and kept me up to date on what was happening. Gave me wonderful advice on what needed to be done to our house! Included are before after after the work was completed and the house painted!
