They recently repaired several cracked sections on our exterior walls by repointing them, and they applied a thick, protective parging/waterproofing layer to the foundation walls under our front and back porches to mitigate future risk from humidity and lack of sun. ​From start to finish, the crew was incredibly professional, efficient, and respectful of the property. They stuck exactly to the committed schedule and completed the work on time without cutting any corners. Best of all, there were absolutely no surprises or hidden costs—just honest, high-quality craftsmanship. ​The finished job looks fantastic, and I have total peace of mind knowing the structure is well-protected. When I needed to find a contractor to fix my chimney which was pulling away from my house at the top, I contacted numerous contractors for their assessment and cost estimate. Some never responded, others recommended what sounded to me like ineffective band-aid solutions, and a couple gave me reasonable advice and estimates. I chose Inner Boston Masonry because Mark seemed so knowledgeable and trustworthy. I’m very glad I did. He and his team got to work right away, came on time every day until the work was completed, kept me well informed every step of the way and did an excellent job. I can't say enough good things about Mark Dunn and the team at Inner Boston Masonry & Construction. We hired them to repair 8-foot-high, 110-foot-long retaining wall, along with the 5-foot-high metal fence mounted on top of it and the entire experience exceeded our expectations. The owner, Mark Dunn, provided a competitive quote, clearly explained the repair plan, and communicated with us throughout the project. He visited the site daily, shared progress photos, and quickly addressed any unexpected issues with practical solutions. The workmanship was outstanding. The retaining wall is now structurally sound and looks fantastic, and the fence was carefully repaired, cleaned, and painted. Mark and his crew were professional, hardworking, respectful, and kept the work area clean every day. It's rare to find a contractor who combines quality craftsmanship, reliability, honesty, and excellent customer service. I highly recommend Inner Boston Masonry & Construction. Mark and his team did an excellent job repairing our retaining wall, side walkway, and resurfacing the concrete underneath our deck. Mark was responsive, professional, and took the time to explain the projects and answer our questions. He was also very kind and easy to work with throughout the process.
