Inspire Kitchen and Bath Design describes itself on Houzz as a full service design and product sales company for residential projects, and Erika Couture introduces herself there as its owner. Its website says it guides clients from concept to installation, and the company says it has been in business 25 years. On Houzz it holds 4.9 stars from 29 ratings. A 2019 customer hired Erika to remodel two bathrooms, both gutted and completely redone, and wrote that both were done on time as promised while they were away from the property. That 2019 customer said Erika produced computerized drawings and ordered most of the product with her fees built in, and that it wasn't cheap but they got what they paid for. A 2022 customer described a major bathroom renovation at the end of 2020, with Erika controlling the entire scheduling process and present on site when needed, and said they used Inspire again for a kitchen renovation at the end of 2021. A 2020 customer wrote that Erika designed and supervised a new kitchen for their summer cottage, handled by email because they live in England most of the year; she sourced materials, found appliances and supervised workmen. A 2020 customer worked with Kerrie on a kitchen and half bath remodel plus a refresh of the entire first floor, including flooring, paint and lighting, and said there were a few unexpected bumps in the road that Kerrie came through on. In a 2022 r/burlington comment, a commenter said they used Inspire, worked with Kerry on the design, and that Steve was the contractor. Vermont lists its home improvement contractor registration, 174.0000858, as active, held by Inspire Kitchen & Bath Design, LLC.

We did a major bathroom renovation the end of 2020 with Erika and her Inspire design team. After several design meetings where we laid out our vision our project began. Erika controlled the entire scheduling process and was present on site when needed to make sure that work progressed. About three months after start of work our vision became a reality. Working with Inspire was well worth the extra cost, so much so that we used Erika and Inspire for a kitchen renovation the end of 2021. Erika knows her business and was a pleasure to work with. The kitchen of our ‘60’s raised ranch was showing its age, so we began searching for designers. Inspire Kitchen & Bath came highly recommended. Erika Couture is a certified Kitchen & Bath Design Professional and has a thorough grasp of the business, so we were confident that we’d get a great result. Erika spent a great deal of time helping us develop a budget, and made sure we had an understanding of how all the different aspects of kitchen cabinets, counters, flooring, appliances, lighting and countertops all fit together – it’s like a giant jigsaw puzzle! She made practical and up to date recommendations and also helped steer us clear of some classic newbie mistakes! Erika developed a computer model of our new kitchen. She and her team were really patient with us as we asked hundreds of questions, tweaked and adjusted different features, and kept updating the design until we were sure it would be perfect. Demolition of our old kitchen was just getting underway when the pandemic hit, and like the song says – the Waiting is the Hardest Part. We taped our computer printout to the bare wall and held our breath…but the final product was worth the wait! The kitchen is open and spacious. Although the square footage is exactly the same, it feels like we have far more room than before. The layout is both practical and beautiful. If you are looking for a designer and project manager, you won’t go wrong with Inspire. They are a pleasure to work with.
