In a January 2026 Google review, a customer who had put off a bathroom remodel for years wrote that Richer's Home Improvements did the work in a short amount of time at a very fair price and was upfront about costs. Its BuildZoom profile describes a father-and-son home remodeling company with over 45 years of combined experience, and the business has been listed among the finalists in Seven Days' best household general contractor category. It holds 5 stars from 17 Google ratings. In October 2025 a customer wrote that "the Mikes" replaced a 4x4 skylight, painted the kitchen and secured a breakfast nook with more posts to keep it from sinking, called them extremely fair on pricing, and said Mike reached out proactively if anything changed. In September 2025 another customer wrote that Michael was quick with the quote and kept them updated by text, and that he and his dad showed up right on time. A June 2025 customer who had hired Michael and his dad on multiple occasions said the last project was replacing the windows on their house. In September 2024 Michael and Michael installed a backsplash with zellige-style tiles and worked on a kitchen island, along with other jobs to prepare the kitchen for counter and sink installation. In April 2024 a customer had Richer's install a second-floor bathroom fan and do a couple of exterior trim repairs, and called the pricing fair. That same month a customer called Mike and Mike on a Thursday evening about a faucet falling apart; they arrived the next morning and replaced it in less than an hour. In 2022 Mike Jr and Sr built a screen porch for a customer and finished on time. A November 2021 reviewer hired the company for a bathroom remodel and some custom work in their basement and called the price extremely reasonable.

We put off a bathroom remodel for years, but I'm glad we did. We got a bathroom that we absolutely love. All the work done in a short amount of time and at a very fair price. They were upfront about costs and helped us turn our vision into reality. Highly recommend for any home remodelling or repairs.
We've had "the Mikes" perform a couple of projects on our home. We needed a 4x4 skylight replaced, kitchen painted and a breakfast nook secured with more post too keep it from 'sinking'. They did a fantastic job across the board. It is getting very difficult to find dependable, honest, reliable, efficient, and caring individuals to do any type of home repair work. This team checks all the boxes. They are very thorough and extremely fair on pricing. Besides the great work they do, what impressed us is their integrity. They were there when they said they would be and if there was any chance that something changed Mike was proactive reaching out to make sure we were well aware of the plans. We highly recommend this duo and are sure we will use them for future projects.
Michael and his dad at Richer’s Home Improvements were absolutely fantastic to work with. Michael was quick with the quote, kept me updated with text messages, and they showed up right on time. The two of them worked meticulously, paid attention to every detail, and did an excellent job that exceeded my expectations. Their professionalism, reliability, and clear communication made the whole process stress-free. I truly appreciate the pride they take in their work—highly recommend!
We have hired Michael and his dad on multiple occasions and every time they delivered excellent service. The last project they worked on was replacing the windows on our house. They are efficient, detail oriented, hardworking and honest. It was our pleasure to have them at our home. They even became friends with our dog. :) We will most definitely use their services in the future. Thank you for another job well done.
Michael and Michael did a beautiful job on our backsplash and kitchen island. They installed an original design that included zellige style tiles. It looks gorgeous. They also did a few other jobs in our kitchen to prepare for counter and sink installation, and overall update from its original early nineties design. They were very communicative, and open to feedback and collaboration if something needed adjusting. I love being in my updated kitchen.
