There are two J&J records here, and which one you get seems to depend on the size of the job. On maintenance and repair calls this Dracut company draws a steady stream of five-star reviews: 423 Google ratings averaging 4.8, 85 written in the past six months alone, and the same handful of technicians named over and over — Jack, Mike, Ethan, Thomas, Kimheng, Dillon. The service stories are specific. A July 2026 customer whose air conditioner quit and leaked across the basement floor on a Saturday morning had a technician there before noon, the unit running in about an hour, and a bill roughly $300 under what they had braced for. In May 2026 someone called the emergency line late at night and had Ethan on site within the hour. That same month Ethan and Dillon found a gas leak in an HVAC system, repaired it, then ran a check on everything else while the homeowner watched. In June, Ethan smelled gas while installing a furnace pump, went back to his truck for bubble solution, and traced it to a joint. The installations are where the record turns. A January 2026 customer wrote that a heat pump and air handler job sold as a one-day installation stretched across six or more days, with a different technician each day correcting the last one's work, and that the main ductwork was left unfitted to the new unit with a two-inch gap — found by the homeowner, not the crew. A May 2026 reviewer who had three mini splits installed a few years earlier said they were told all three would earn rebates and not one was eligible. An April 2026 reviewer who bought central air, a heating system and a hot water tank described being charged for warranty work and waiting four days for hot water. Two more are worth reading closely. In May 2026 a customer wrote that after a February no-heat call, J&J diagnosed a tripped limit switch and said the entire furnace needed replacing, quoted in the mid-$9,000 range. And in December 2025 a condo owner with a broken thermostat was charged $157 for a visit that ended in a diagnosis of an electrical fault the company does not handle — which they say was never mentioned when they booked. Its BBB page shows an A+ and lists furnaces, boilers, heat pumps, air handlers, water heaters and thermostats. BuildZoom, on three ratings, shows a 1.0. For seasonal maintenance, a diagnostic or a repair — the everyday work that fills this record — J&J is as consistent as anything in the area, and customers name technicians they have had for years. Before signing for a new system, get a second opinion on the diagnosis, confirm rebate eligibility with the utility rather than the installer, and put the completion date and the warranty terms in the contract.

Had my a/c unit go down and leak all over my basement floor - called them on a Saturday morning and their tech was at my house before 12pm. Super professional, had the unit back up and running in about an hour - and to top it all off, they did it for about $300 less than I expected - especially for Saturday service!! Sorry everyone else, I will only be calling J&J in the future for anything plumbing, heating, a/c, etc. Truly great experience, thank you!
