The phone gets answered. That is the smallest possible thing to praise a plumber for, and it is what customers around Dracut and Lowell write about first - followed closely by how fast Charles Dees turns up afterwards. Dees Plumbing & Heating works out of 10 Washington Avenue in Dracut. Charles Dees, its founder, says he started the company in 2021 and runs it himself. Its Massachusetts plumbing licence, 5134-PL-C, is active and held in the company's own name. The area it claims stretches across Middlesex County and up into Methuen, Lawrence, Andover and Tyngsborough. The recent work is ordinary house emergencies handled quickly. In April a homeowner with a leak in the kitchen ceiling had someone there in about an hour; the leak was pinpointed to keep the drywall cutting to a minimum, the pipe feeding the second-floor tub was repaired in under two hours, and a failing toilet fill valve was swapped while they were on site. In June a leaking shower stem and tub valve was diagnosed and rebuilt within the day. In May a whole-house water filtration install drew a note that nobody tried to upsell anything. In July, a customer whose pipes filled with sediment after a water main break was seen by a technician named Luke - the one-man shop is not only one man anymore. Google carries 120 ratings averaging 5.0, and the written history runs back to 2021 across several sites. Weekend and after-hours calls come up repeatedly: one customer in March got a Saturday call back and had a bathtub drain sorted around her work schedule. Heating is half the business - boiler failures, annual boiler service and a heating zone that would not warm all appear alongside the plumbing. Two things to know. Its Better Business Bureau file was opened only in April 2026, and BBB has not rated the business, saying it has been in business less than six months and lacks a sufficient track record - that is the age of the BBB file, not of the company, whose reviews run back years. BBB also lists it with one employee, while customers describe a crew, a named associate, and an apprentice being taught on the job. Worth a call for a burst pipe, a dead water heater, or a boiler that quits on a cold night. Ask who is coming and whether it is Charles himself, and get the quote before work starts - customers consistently describe being given a price up front.

Luke from Dee’s Plumbing & Heating was fantastic! After the recent water main break, sediment clogged our pipes and our sinks stopped running. Luke came out promptly, quickly identified the problem, and had everything working again in no time. He was professional, knowledgeable, and took the time to explain what caused the issue and how he fixed it. It’s hard to find someone who’s both skilled and genuinely cares about their customers. I highly recommend Luke and Dee’s Plumbing & Heating for anyone looking for honest, reliable plumbing service. Thank you again!

Charles did a great job repairing a shower stem/tub valve that had been leaking with a new stem and other related parts. He responded very quickly and completed the repairs within the day! Very reasonably priced and extremely patient. Would definitely work with him again! Highly recommend!

My husband and I had a very positive experience with Dees Plumbing. We hired Charles to install a whole house water filtration system and the entire process was smooth from start to finish. He took the time to listen to what we were looking for, explained everything in a way that made sense, and didn’t try to upsell us on anything unnecessary. The install itself was clean and professional and took the time to make sure everything was working properly before leaving. He is an all-around nice, down to earth guy which really goes a long way when you’re having work done in your home. I highly recommend him if you’re looking for someone reliable, skilled, and transparent.

I called Dees Plumbing in response to a sudden leak that started in the ceiling of my kitchen. I shut the water off and they showed up in about an hour (fantastic!). Charles diagnosed the situation and pin pointed the leak location accurately in order to minimize cutting open the drywall. Sure enough there was a leaking water pipe in the ceiling that feeds the Shower/Tub on the second floor (House was built in 1981). He and his guy did the repair in less than 2 hour and I was back up and running. Since I had them there I had them replace a defective toilet fill valve. Accurate diagnosis, proficient work, great attitude, and fair pricing. As a past tradesman myself, I can vouch that these guys are the real deal, they take pride in their work. I will absolutely be using Dees Plumbing again in the near future for other repairs, maintenance and projects. Highly recommended 👌

Positive experience!! My bathtub drain had a problem and Charles knew what the cause was immediately and fixed the issue. It’s working fine now!! He even answered the phone when I called on a weekend and was available when it was convenient for me after hours during my workweek. He doesn’t charge an “arm&a leg”, but affordable prices!! Easygoing and a good listener when I mentioned the plumbing issues. I recommend Dee’s Plumbing!!
