- Scope clarity — confirm disassembly and packing terms
J. Bresnahan Co. is listed in Haverhill for moving work, but the available public feedback is limited and leans negative. Google shows a 3.8-star rating from 8 ratings, while the two review texts available here are both complaints. The most recent review in the last six months says the crew arrived two hours late, made rude comments, added extra fees for moving TVs, and scuffed the TVs during the move. An older review also raises concerns about fee clarity and whether expected moving help was provided. Before hiring, get the moving scope in writing: arrival window, hourly or flat pricing, what counts as packing, what furniture or electronics cost extra, and who is responsible for disassembly or damage. With this small review set, the safest next step is to verify current references and quote terms directly before booking.

I hired these guys last year. They showed up two hours late and made rude comments about the home I was moving out of. They also added extra fees for moving items like my TVs, which I would have been happy to move myself if I had been consulted beforehand. To top it off, my TVs were scuffed during the move. Overall, these guys added a lot of unnecessary stress to what was already a difficult day. I recommend looking elsewhere.

I recently used this company for my move, and I must express my disappointment with their service. Despite having packed everything into boxes, containers, and bags – all taped and labeled – I was still charged a packing fee. Moreover, the movers didn't assist with disassembling my joint platform bed, which requires no tools and is a quick task. I had to handle this myself, including lifting and moving the mattress. The service I received felt dishonest and lacked the professionalism I expected. Potential customers should be aware and ensure clear communication about fees and services rendered to avoid similar experiences.
