I hired Jay Crosby to do a few jobs— hang a storm door, put up a backsplash, and investigate a small leak. He showed up to give an estimate and was very professional. He came back right on schedule to do the work, which was completed in a day. The door and the back splash look great, but the leak was the best part. Jay quickly figured out that the builders simply didn’t put flashing around an outdoor electrical outlet on our second floor deck, and water was trickling in and staining our basement ceiling. He sealed it up in about five minutes. I was worried we were going to have to rip something apart to figure out where the leak was. Nope! Jay’s know-how saved the day (not to mention a few bucks). At some point we’ll need our sun bleached back deck redone. I already know who I’m calling.
