J E Corp is a family flooring outfit in Sherborn that Better Business Bureau lists at 62 years in business and Angi puts at 65 years of experience — tenure borne out by reviews running back to 2009. Both Angi and HomeAdvisor describe it as family-owned, and the reviews put a name to that: Ralph Joline, with his father Bud handling the paperwork and scheduling on earlier jobs. The focus is hardwood — installing, refinishing, and repairing floors — and Better Business Bureau's own category for the company is, oddly, Bowling, a hint that some of that wood-surface work has gone into lanes and courts as well as living rooms. The written record is short but consistent: ten reviews across Angi and HomeAdvisor, all five stars, spanning 2009 to 2024. In a 2024 review, a repeat customer described hiring Ralph for the fourth time — this round matching new oak to an existing floor after a tricky tile removal, plus restaining a deck — and called the result perfect. Earlier reviews tell a similar story: crews that show up on time, match materials precisely, and leave the site clean. In a 2015 review, a homeowner who interviewed five flooring contractors before choosing J E Corp singled out a radiant-heat hardwood install as especially well executed and good value. There isn't much to flag. The written reviews stop short of the last year — the newest dates to May 2024 — and at just ten online reviews over fifteen years, the volume is thin for a shop with this much history, so there's less recent, independent word to go on than the five-star average alone suggests. Better Business Bureau's page for the company carries no complaint count, star rating, or accreditation status. For refinishing an old hardwood floor or matching new wood into an existing one, the reviews point to careful, detail-oriented work spanning two generations of the same family. Worth asking, given how sparse the recent record is, whether Ralph or his crew have jobs from the past year you can look at before booking.

We have hired Ralph at least four times. Made a difficult removal of a distressed old tile floor and replaced with oak that perfectly matched our existing floor elsewhere in house. Made another difficult removal of tile in sunroom and replaced with stunning manufactured wood floor from Sweden. Restored and painted deck. Everything was perfect, plus Talph and crew are just nice people.
I've hired Ralph & his crew for many jobs over the years. They've done work in my home & also in my investment properties. The quality of work is always top notch & also reasonably priced.
Ralph & his crew are absolutely the best in this business. These guys were on time every morning and broke their butts during the work I needed. Job came out better than I hoped. I strongly recommend this company.
Very professional crew!
I interviewed 5 people and Ralph by far was the most competent and competitive when it came to installing, staining and finishing hard wood flooring with radiant heat. Excellent value for the work. Ralph and his crew were punctual, detail oriented, clean, and extremely responsive to all my needs. I am a very detailed guy when it comes to work around my home and Ralph exceeded my expectation in every way. Any wood imperfections or fixes I wanted were done promptly and very well. JE Corp. is the company to hire for wood flooring!!!
