It was a Friday afternoon on all Hallows eve and the first heavy wet snow fall of the fall for 2020. A tree limb came crashing down on the power line to our Apartment, that ripped the electricity pole right off the side of the House, causing sparks, downed lines and a small fire. At the time I was home alone and not knowing what to do I called 911. The Fire department came and shut all power off to the house. Eversource was called by the Ludlow FD to restore power, but because it was electricity damage on the side of the house {meter and pole} eversource could not do anything to restore power until the Landlords called an electrician to make repairs, THEN eversource could replace the power line to restore power... again I say i rent here, and I HAD to find the electrician because the Landlords could not get ahold of anyone on their end on a Friday afternoon at 430pm. FINALLY , after calling 9 DIFFERENT ELECTRICIANS, J. L. Bruso ANSWERED my damn prayers. He had already been out since 5 am Friday, on emergency calls like mine because of the heavy wet snow on top of trees still covered with leaves!! It was a process and a half between having him fix the pole and meter on the home owners end, having the LFD COME BACK to inspect the work and sign off, ALL IN ORDER for LFD to call eversource to come BACK out and replace the power line to get some god damn heat in the house... Bruso was here quicker than Eversource, worked so hard, fast and with compassion because it was the coldest night of the fall so far (19°} and although we couldn't get power restored till the day after {Oct 31st Halloween 😂} I am so thankful for this man. He had already had a long, exhausting, COLD day of work, yet after his last job of the day, hw drove out to me at 8pm at night to help me get heat back in my Apartment. I can not thank him enough. He was fast, efficient, super friendly and absolutely reasonable on pricing for the emergency job needed for us. I HIGHLY recommend this man to anyone in a situation as me.
