Jacob Home Services is an Everett, Massachusetts painting business built around one person: every review, on Google and on HomeAdvisor, centers on Fernando doing the actual work with a small crew. HomeAdvisor's profile for the company states 21 years of experience and lists interior painting, exterior painting, and toxic lead testing among its services, alongside a lead-safe certified renovator credential. In a run of Google reviews from May and June 2022, homeowners across the greater Boston area described full repaints handled personally by Fernando. A South Boston condo buyer said he gave a reasonable price and came back for touch-ups after she moved in; another homeowner described him repainting an entire three-bedroom apartment interior and being upfront about which repairs would need a plaster specialist instead. A real estate agent, writing that same spring, said she refers him to her own clients regularly, and one review from May 2022 described a full house exterior finished in a single day. Two 2021 HomeAdvisor reviews add the same notes in shorter form — quick, flexible, a good job. Across both platforms, nine reviews from 2021 and 2022 average five stars. Several of the Google reviewers describe hiring him more than once, and more than one review calls the pricing fair or straightforward rather than just cheap — a recurring note across different jobs and different years, not a single account. For a full interior or exterior repaint, particularly in an older Everett-area home where the lead-safe certification and testing service could matter, this is a business with a consistent, specific track record behind it, even though the written reviews on file run from 2021 to 2022. Worth confirming current scheduling and pricing directly before booking.
I can not say enough wonderful things about Fernando and everyone who works for him. He is kind, responsive, timely and fair priced. He cares about each job that he does and I would hire him a million times over.
Fabulous job! Totally trustworthy. Excellent communications. Always on time. Have hired them repeatedly and always been happy with their work. They go the extra mile on top of it all. Wonderful experience and people.
I cannot recommend Fernando enough! When I first bought my condo in South Boston, Fernando gave me a very reasonable price and did fantastic work throughout my entire place. After I moved my things in, I even needed a couple touchups done, and Fernando came with another worker to do those! About a year later, I wanted to have my cabinets painted, and yet again, his work was both efficient, timely, and done to a very high standard. He did such a great job at my place, I recommended him to my mother who used him for a job at her house. You can’t go wrong using Fernando!
Fernando did fantastic work for us, repainting the entire interior of our 3 bedroom apartment. He was very responsive, communicative and professional. He was honest and straightforward about what he’d be able to fix and what would require a plaster specialist. I would hire him again in a heartbeat!
Fernando is hands down one of the best painters. He is we priced, always on time and provides an excellent result. I am in real estate and recommend him to my clients all the time . They are all very happy.!!
