2JJ GENERAL CONSTRUCTION

2JJ General Construction is Paulo Ramos's crew in Everett, and the work customers describe most concretely is outdoor finish work. A Thumbtack customer in April 2025 wrote that they stained decks and furniture and were "extremely detail oriented" and accommodating; Thumbtack's profile covers deck staining, sealing and exterior painting, with three employees. Paulo is the name that comes up. A May 2024 Thumbtack customer said he did the job quickly and carefully, was friendly and responsive, and charged a good price; another in April 2024 called the company serious and committed. The February 2025 Google posts are short — punctual, careful, good price. Google shows 4.6 stars from 10 ratings, Thumbtack 5.0 from 3. The exception is a one-star Google review from September 2025 about a sheetrock ceiling. That customer wrote that 2JJ came back and made fixes, but that the imperfections were still visible with the nightlights on, and that they asked for a portion of the money back. The company self-reports eight years of experience and free estimates on Angi, while its Thumbtack profile says four years in business — worth asking about directly. Thumbtack also lists a background check. For deck staining, sealing and exterior painting around Everett, this is a small crew whose customers liked the result. If your job is interior drywall or ceiling finish, ask to see recent examples of that work, and put in writing what happens if a finish has to be redone.
