Jacuzzi Bath Remodel by Capital runs its Canton, Massachusetts shop around one job: swapping an old tub for a walk-in shower, usually in a single day. Across dozens of reviews from this year, the same two things keep surfacing — a named sales rep who comes to the house to walk through options (John Cummings, Andre Mosely, and Eddie turn up again and again), and a crew that shows up, finishes the conversion, and leaves the bathroom clean. The volume behind that pattern is real: 346 Google ratings average 4.6, and BBB carries an A+ accreditation with a 4.1 rating from 56 of its own reviewers. Sentiment across the most recent 75 reviews lands around 0.49 on a -1-to-1 scale — solidly positive but not spotless — and of the 37 reviews posted in the last six months, 35 are positive about the same things: a one-day install, a sales visit that didn't feel pushy, a crew that worked through a snowstorm in February without stopping for a break. One reviewer converting a tub for their parents' safety in May said Andre and Rob were 'polite and knowledgeable' and had the whole job done in under six hours; another in March, after 'a horror show with other contractors,' called the visit itself the thing that rebuilt their confidence. The two recent complaints worth reading before booking aren't small ones. In June, a reviewer described their elderly mother paying far more than she'd hoped to spend on the strength of the Jacuzzi name, and said the installation was still underway well past the two-to-three-day timeline the sales rep had promised. In February, another reviewer described a salesperson pushing for a same-day decision with an added 'today only' discount, and said their phone number ended up sold on to spam and phishing calls afterward. That combination — a crew that reliably finishes a walk-in shower installation in a day, alongside real complaints about sales pressure and cost overruns on higher-end jobs — points to a company that's better once the contract's signed than at the estimate stage. Anyone considering them should get the full price in writing before agreeing to anything, ask directly whether a callback number will be shared with third parties, and treat any 'today only' discount as a reason to slow down, not speed up.

We are in the middle of installation right now at my elderly mother’s house. She spent A LOT more money than we hoped to spend because she wanted the Jacuzzi name. The sales person did his job and said all the right things. He said it’ll be done in 2 days, possibly part of a 3rd day. This was completely false.

When materials came in I scheduled installation for early June. On the appointment day no one showed. I called three different numbers and texted the sales person. When I got a call back I was told there was a miscommunication and I was scheduled for 2 weeks later, this past Monday. Then that appointment was changed to Tuesday. The demo was done and shower base was installed in a few hours that day, and we were told we had to wait for 2 inspectors from the city, then they’d be back. It’s now 3 days later, after business hours, and only 1 of the inspectors has been here. And now we have no idea when to expect the other inspector or the contractors to come back, and now have no shower for the weekend.

I’ve texted the salesperson about this but he has only replied once to multiple messages from me. We are very disappointed and feel like we were misled by the salesperson. For the amount my mother is spending, it should not be this difficult and take this long.

Eddie came to the house. Explained everything so that everything was understood.

We needed to have our bathtub changed to a walk in shower for my mother’s safety. Andre and Rob came to our home to give us a quote and go over everything. They were very polite and knowledgeable and were able to answer all our questions. The price was more than what we thought it should be but for the safety of my Mother we decided to move ahead with the project. We had two installers come the day of the appointment and they were very professional and had the job completed in under 6 hours. They made sure to go over how to use everything before they left. Also Andre made a point to come over a week later to see how we like the install which was very nice.
