When my air conditioning stopped cooling air, I found myself in the unfortunate position of searching for a new heating and cooling system installer. I ended-up getting several quotes and decided to use JBD after hearing about neighbors that hired them to do HVAC replacements in their homes. I cannot say enough about how amazing the experience was. The first thing I liked was there was never any upselling or sales vibes from the owner Jim. He came and priced the system personally- and he knows HVAC. I had an Infinity 98 furnace in my last home and I decided to put the same system in my current home. Jim prepared me a quote within a few days that detailed not only the breakdown of the components and installation, but it also saved me thousands by identifying MassSave rebates and manufacturer incentives. On top of that, I love that JBD is local. Their company shop is based next door in Franklin. JBD is also a family operation, which I love being able to support. Jim’s wife Shawna manages the office and she was incredible with the communication I received while trying to schedule Mass energy audits to be eligible for use of the 0% heat loan program in Massachusetts (which I should note—scheduling for energy audits isn’t really the responsibility of the HVAC company and they have nothing to do with it; but I appreciated the help regardless). We selected a date for the install and I got on their schedule, which at the time was about three weeks out (due to ordering of my system, me conducting the energy audit and heat loan process). I received text and email reminders the day prior to the install, which was also nice. The install experience itself was wonderful. Jim and Justin came and were incredibly respectful of my home. They laid slip-resistant tarps to avoid tracking insulation from my attic onto the carpet of my home. Also, they got the system functioning for me by the end of the first day so my family didn’t have to sleep without air conditioning that night. They came back and finished the install the next day and all the returns they cut in look like they were original to the house. I love my new carrier heat-pump system and JBD will be the first call I make when it comes time to replace my downstairs Goodman system. I’d give them 6 out of 5 stars if I could and would definitely recommend them to anyone looking to install a Carrier system that feels strongly about supporting local businesses.

The time came to say goodbye to our traditional furnace and AC system so my wife and I went looking for a local, highly-rated company that would be with us for a long time. We found JBD from the Carrier website. Jim with his crew and Shauna in the office are a great team. Everything we hoped for in the new heat pump system has been great, including a new second story zone that our home had been lacking. Do not think twice about hiring JBD which should stand for "Just Best Done". Between the quick and accurate installation and the office competence with documentation, you will be happy. JBD delivers top-tier comfort and unmatched professionalism from start to finish. Do your home a favor and make them your first call.

We had an excellent experience working with JBD! Jim walked us through the process of installing both a ductless system on our first floor, and a complete duct system with integrated controls (for the existing heat system) on our second floor. From start to finish Jim and his team were meticulous and respectful, leaving our home each day clean and tidy for the duration of the three day install. The entire project was seamless and professional from quote to completion. And a shout out to Shawna for her outstanding customer service throughout the entire time - always there to answer any questions and process our rebates. We highly recommend JBD without hesitation, they exceeded all expectations!

During a routine spring maintenance visit, we discovered a leak in the AC unit serving our upper floor. Since the unit was 25 years old, replacing it made more sense than repairing it. He even took the time to clear a clogged drain on our downstairs condenser that was leaking on the basement floor, a nice bonus that solved an annoying problem for us!
