Jelly Belly's Pools & Spas states it has been in business 28 years, and its website lists a service area that includes Westfield, Agawam, West Springfield, Springfield, Holyoke and Chicopee. Its home improvement contractor registration, held by Jelly Belly's Pools & Spas, Inc., is active on the state registry. A 2024 westernmassnews.com story said Jelly Belly's had over 220 models in stock for visitors to The Big E looking for a hot tub or spa. In a 2024 story, westernmassnews.com also said the company was offering financing options for customers at The Big E. A recent customer who bought a hot tub from the company says the heater was never connected when the crew came to open the pool this year, and that a technician who said he would come never showed up. A recent customer seeking a pool inspection says calls went unreturned, and when someone was finally reached, he said all he could do was tell whether it was running and whether the liner looked good. A 2025 customer said a technician found cracked light lenses after a small leak in a hot tub bought from the company a few years earlier, had the parts with him and took care of it while the tub was under warranty. That 2025 customer also praised the pricing on chemicals in the store, even compared to Amazon. A 2025 customer who opted for an upgrade said the team walked them through the options, explained everything clearly and completed the work on time. A 2025 customer who called for service on a three-week-old pool pump and filter said they arrived on day 3 with no call or notice, stayed 35 minutes, and that the problem turned out to be a blown outlet; that customer called the $250 service charge totally unreasonable. A 2023 BuildZoom reviewer said that after opting for a Bullfrog hot tub instead of a pool, the prices kept increasing, and when they asked for their 5K deposit back, he kept it, citing a contract with 3 days to cancel.
“Jelly Belly’s Pools and Spas is offering a multitude of financing options for customers at The Big E”
“You’re in luck if you’re at The Big E and looking for a hot tub or spa, as Jelly Belly’s has over 220 models in stock.”
We bought a hot tub from Jelly Belly Pools last year and had a great experience, which is why this has been disappointing. Last fall, when scheduling our pool opening for this season, I also asked to have our heater hooked up. When the crew came to open the pool this year, the heater was never connected. I called afterward and was told they would let me know when someone could come out. A technician eventually came last week, but said the pool needed to be cleaned first and told me to text him once it was done. After the cleaning, I texted him and he told me he would come today. Unfortunately, he never showed up. I reached out again asking when he would be coming, and although my message was read, I never received a response. I understand that schedules can get busy, but communication and follow-through are really important, especially when customers are waiting around all day. Very disappointed with how this was handled, especially after initially having such a positive experience with the company.
Tried to get a pool inspection never got a call back after calling a bunch of times and when I finally got a hold of someone the guy just starts listing what he can’t do which is everything. Literally said all he can do is tell me if it’s running and the liner looks good I’m like I’m not a retard I can check a pump and liner
Purchased an artesian hot tub from them a few years ago. Had a small leak recently and the technician found cracked light lenses. Had the parts with him and got it all taken care of while the tub was still under warranty. Great customer service and great pricing on the chemicals in store, even compared to Amazon.
From start to finish, my experience with Jelly Belly Spas was nothing short of exceptional. The customer service was top-tier—friendly, responsive, and genuinely focused on making sure I had everything I needed. It’s rare to find a team so committed to going above and beyond, but that’s exactly what they did. Scheduling was a breeze, and everything was completed on time, if not ahead of schedule. They kept me updated every step of the way, which made the entire process smooth and stress-free. I also opted for an upgrade, and I’m so glad I did. The team walked me through the options, explained everything clearly. The final result? Absolutely stunning. The quality of the upgrade far exceeded my expectations, and it’s clear they take real pride in their work. I couldn’t be happier with the service, the professionalism, and the finished product. If you’re considering working with Jelly Belly Spas—do it. You’ll be in excellent hands. Highly recommend!
Called for service on a 3 week old pool pump/filter. Curt, unprofessional woman on phone would not tell me when they would be coming; tomorrow, 4 days or 4 years and someone would call me back. 9 a.m. day 3 they are at my door with no call or notice. Turns out my outlet blew since it worked on a different outlet. Here 35 minutes. I don’t begrudge a service call charge, but $250.. if their intent was to lose a long time customer they win. ZERO customer service, and totally unreasonable service charge. I pay far less for my skilled plumber/electrician
