Jeremy Labrecque is a hands-on hardwood floor craftsman in Beverly, MA, and the work he's known for goes beyond a standard sand-and-coat: custom medallions, inlaid borders, and feature strips he fabricates on site, alongside straight refinishing and new installs. He describes himself as a third-generation, fully insured wood floor specialist whose family has done this trade on the North Shore since 1925. The reputation, though built on a modest number of reviews, is consistent. He holds a 4.8 on Google across five ratings, with a matching 4.8 on another directory, and the reviews that exist keep landing on the same themes — a meticulous, careful finish, honest and dependable scheduling, and a clean job site. Customers describe him as a craftsman who shows up when he says he will and takes real pride in the outcome. What to keep in mind is mostly a matter of volume: the ratings are high but few, so there's less of a track record than a larger shop would have. This is also clearly a specialty operation focused on wood floors rather than a general flooring store, so if you need carpet or tile, he's not your contractor. He's a strong fit for a North Shore homeowner who wants oak, maple, or an exotic species sanded and refinished well, or who wants custom inlay and medallion work most installers won't attempt. Ask to see his portfolio and confirm scope and timeline up front; the craftsmanship signals here are genuine.

Jeremy refinished all the floors in our new home. He was super responsive and took great pride in his work. Even though we were not yet living in the house, he left it clean each day, and there wasn't a spec of dust anywhere once he was finished. I would have no problem recommending him.
