The work people actually hire them for is the full room, not a piece of it. A homeowner in July 2025 described a bathroom in a 1908 house taken down to the studs, claw-foot tub and all, and rebuilt to the design they wanted. Another, writing in May 2024, put numbers on it: over 900 square feet of finished basement, added as a living room, gym and bedroom-office, chosen because the quote came in competitively against the others they collected. Two things are worth raising before you sign. A January 2025 customer who had a four-season sunroom and attached storage room built said the project took a bit longer than expected, though they were pleased with the finished room. And a May 2024 bathroom client mentioned change orders that came up along the way — handled fairly, in their telling, but they existed. Both are the ordinary friction of remodeling work; ask how schedule slips and mid-job changes get priced, and get it in writing.
The fit here is a homeowner planning a whole bathroom, kitchen or basement rather than a single fixture swap, who wants one contractor holding the trades together.
