Jesse Norton Carpentry & Painting is a Boston trades business that puts both halves of a finish job under one name — the carpentry goes in, and the same outfit paints it. That pairing is the reason to call: trim, doors or repair work that needs painting behind it, handled by one contractor instead of two. Ask to see a couple of recent jobs of the same kind, and get the scope, the paint spec and the price in writing before the first day.
