What Spiros does before he opens a can of paint is what his customers write about. On a shingled house in August 2023 he worked a brush in between each shingle rather than spraying, replacing boards where they had rotted. On a cedar-shake Victorian finished that July, careful repairs to the trim and shingles came first. And in August 2026 a customer had the house painted and a fence rebuilt, with a lot of rotten wood replaced along the way. S.D. The work splits evenly between inside and out. Interiors: walls, trim and ceilings with all the prep in November 2025; three rooms including a ceiling repair in December 2021; wallpaper removal, plastering and painting in June 2022; plaster repairs to the ceilings of a nearly 140-year-old house. Exteriors: whole houses, a shed, a deck, a fence cleaned and prepped, shutters taken down, repainted a different color and rehung, and shingles, rotted wood and a gutter replaced as part of one 2022 job. Two practical notes. Every account here is a Google review, so there is no second platform to compare against, and the newest was posted in August 2026. And more than one customer mentions a full schedule - a 2022 reviewer thanked him for finding time for an apartment that needed painting badly - so raise timing early if the work has to land in a particular window. For an older house where the repairs have to be sorted before the paint goes on, this is the kind of crew people come back to: several reviewers describe a second or third job. Get the estimate in writing, and settle which carpentry repairs are inside it - the wood work is where these jobs tend to grow.
