JF Pansire Contracting is an Ashland, Massachusetts general contractor offering remodeling, renovations, additions, and design work for residential and commercial clients. The company says it has served residential clients since 1989, is licensed and insured, and works across Boston and Boston Metrowest. The clearest customer feedback is one detailed five-star Houzz review dated July 18, 2020. Ruth Illingworth described a completed bathroom remodel with a larger glass-and-tile shower, floating vanity, and radiant floor heat, and praised communication, supplier recommendations, and adaptation during pandemic disruption. Houzz shows one rating at 5.0, while BBB lists an A+ grade and no accreditation. The advertised work spans kitchen, bathroom, basement, whole-home remodeling, additions, new homes, exterior remodeling, and project design. BuildZoom lists 60 projects and several license claims, but its entries have mixed verification statuses, so confirm current licenses directly before signing. They are a reasonable fit for homeowners seeking a single firm for a substantial remodel or addition in the Ashland-to-Boston area. Ask for a current license check, insurance certificate, references for comparable work, and a written scope and schedule.
John Pansire Consulting just finished a complete bathroom remodel project and we are absolutely delighted with the result. We were able to upgrade and modernize a 20 year old bathroom with a much larger glass and tile shower, a floating vanity and radiant heat on the floor. John provided practical advice during the design stage, particularly maximizing the footprint for the shower, finding realistic solutions to our specific requests and also helpful recommendations on suppliers to work with. The project started before the COVID-19 pandemic and while there was inevitable disruption due to lock-down, communication with John, throughout the project was excellent. John understood the disruption (we had moved out of our master bedroom as well) and actively tried to find solutions as issues arose. When work was able to restart, John and Tom and the subs they worked with adapted to the new situation and the necessary health and safety measures to enable the project to be completed
